Infant Massage Classes
Infant massage is an ancient art that facilitates growth, increases circulation, and can result in
improved immune function. It can reduce a baby's
stress and help to maintain health. Infant massage
enhances the parent-baby bond, helping to create more family-centered values.

Babies are aware human beings who deserve respect, tenderness, warmth, and above all, a listening heart. Infant massage helps to build nurturing relationships and assists with bonding and attachment.


Touch is the first sense to which babies relate. They need to be held securely so that they feel safe. Skin stimulation is important for psychological growth and security. Infant massage provides a loving and joyful experience for both baby and parent.

Massaging one's own baby enhances the bond between mother and baby and father and baby.
It is a great way for the father to experience a
closeness to the new baby, especially if the mother is breastfeeding.

We offer two types of classes. In our private in-home sessions you are able to bond with your baby in your own environment. Our group sessions are held in a relaxation room with a small group of babies and parents. This allows parents to share with others who are also experiencing the joys and challenges of parenthood. Both types of classes include a baby lullaby CD.
